The Burton Chopper is for kids who want to escape the frustrating two-plank, ski-wee technique for good. The beginner-friendly combo of a catch-free convex base and the softest flex possible makes it fun for even the lightest weight riders to master turning and stopping. No camber or rocker here, just a flat profile from nose to tail that’s extra stable for better balance and board control. Attach the Riglet accessory to the nose or tail of the 80-120cm sizes to tow junior around and get him comfortable until he’s ready to rock bindings.

Perfectly symmetrical Twin Shape for a balanced ride that’s equally versatile when ridden regular or switch. Easy Bevel gives riders an incredibly soft and forgiving board that’s virtually impossible to catch an edge on. With a convex base that lifts the edges off the snow and a super soft flex, these boards make it easy to learn balance and board control

Profile

Rising rider or seasoned pro, keep your game high and tight with Flat Top. A flat profile between the feet means stability, better balance, and continuous edge control. The tip and tail kick up with an early rise outside the feet for the catch-free, loose feeling you’d expect from rocker.

Construction

The FSC™ Certified Fly Core is a classic tip-to-tail wood core. The 900G model utilizes the best of two wood species to lighten the load by 10% without sacrificing flex, pop, or strength. Biax Fiberglass features a torsionally soft flex and forgiving feel. The Extruded Base is fast and requires little maintenance.

By giving these items a second life, we can both reduce waste and offer more affordable sports equipment.
How is “refurbished” classified?
We want to offer affordable and environmentally conscious sports equipment without compromising on quality. Each item undergoes a refurbishment and quality control process to ensure it meets the high quality you can expect from refurbed. All our "refurbed" items are in perfect operating condition and are primarily graded based on visible signs of wear:
Excellent: Minor, not immediately visible optical defects.
Very good: Minor, visible optical defects.
Good: Visible optical defects.
What does "recycled" mean?
In line with our circular thinking, refurbed Sports offers not only refurbished products, but also new sports equipment made from recycled materials. This includes upcycled materials, old stock, pre- and post-consumer recycling, and other waste. By reusing existing materials, we minimise waste, consume fewer resources, and contribute to a better environment.
How does refurbed guarantee the quality of the products?
Only professional and certified refurbishers are allowed to offer their products on refurbed. We monitor customer satisfaction and refurbisher performance closely and conduct regular quality tests to ensure an excellent shopping experience for all. And finally, all our refurbishers are based within the EU to enable fast delivery times and optimal contact with the refurbisher.
How does the 30-day free trial work?
If you are not satisfied with your order, you can return it for free within the 30-day free trial. You can contact the refurbisher directly via your customer account and let them know that you want to exchange or return your item. Alternatively, you can of course also contact our refurbed customer service. We are happy to help and contact the refurbisher for you. You will receive a free return label from the refurbisher by email or in your customer account.
What are my warranty conditions?
We offer you a 12-month statutory warranty. This covers all defects, i.e. everything that is considered poor workmanship of the product and was not caused by your own actions.
Which environmental protection projects do we invest in?
We have planted over 6.6 million trees since our foundin, and we are very proud! We realised that planting trees alone does not tackle all of the environmental issues we a passionate about, however. That's why we now also support projects that
- restore landscapes — ecosystems are repaired and jobs are created, including tree planting along the way
- remove carbon from the atmosphere and store it permanently
- recycle electronic waste and reuse materials
